Transforming your experience at the dentist.

Dentures

One of the options for replacing missing teeth is a denture. Dentures can be full or partial and can be made out of different materials. Some dentures are made from acrylic, others have a metal skeleton frame or are flexible.  At Toothopia, we can advise you about the most appropriate type of denture to replace your missing teeth.

We offer:

  1. Acrylic dentures
  2. Chrome-cobalt dentures
  3. Flexible dentures (Valplast, Vertex, etc.)

Dentures are a part of prosthetic dentistry. Find out more about other prosthetic options we offer here.

Good to know

You won’t leave here without teeth

Your daily routine won’t be affected by the extraction of multiple teeth. We will fit you with temporary dentures, so that you can leave Toothopia with confidence. Made from standard acrylic, immediate dentures can be either a complete or partial set. They have to be worn during the healing period of 2-4 months following an extraction. When your jawline has set, immediate dentures can either be replaced with permanent ones, or re-based and re-fitted as permanent.

Flexible dentures

Flexible dentures react to your mouth’s warmth, which increases their elasticity for higher comfort. They benefit from improved stability and greater aesthetics, as they are secured to the teeth by clasps, which are seamless extensions of the denture itself, rather than a metal wire. The stability of this type of dentures allows for maximum reduction of the palatal surface that is in contact with the roof of your mouth. This feature will optimise your comfort and your ability to chew food.

Clear dentures

This type of dentures are the same as your standard acrylic prostheses, but made of colorant-free material. Clear dentures are suitable for patients allergic to the dyes in standard acrylics. They go through the same stages of production as traditional acrylic dentures and offer the same level of comfort. Your dentist will advise about the best type of dentures we can make for you based on the complexity of your case and your personal preference.
